If we haven’t met yet, my name’s Jim Mast. My son Brian served his country just like I did before him.

I’ve always been proud of his service, and I love my son very much. Since we have a tough love relationship though, that hasn’t been something I’ve said to him nearly enough.

This changed on the fateful day when my son was blown up by radical terrorists in Afghanistan…

I remember getting the call from Brian’s sister and the sinking feeling in my stomach that every military father feels in moments like that. I feared the worst. I feared I would never be able to say “I Love You” to my son ever again.

Thankfully, although he lost two legs and a finger, my son survived. The first thing I told him when I saw Brian in the hospital? I love you.
And when I call him on his birthday coming up this weekend, I’m going to tell him those three words once again.

After Brian’s injuries, it wasn’t long that I went back to the tough love, though. I let my son know that he couldn’t leave all of his service to his country behind him - and he especially couldn’t spend the rest of his days feeling sorry for himself.

Boy did he take that to heart.

My son learned to walk again, graduated from Harvard and won an election to be a Republican representative in the United States House of Representatives from the state of Florida. Like I said - I’m incredibly proud of my son.

But keeping up his service to America isn’t a walk in the park. Brian has spent the better part of the past year fighting tooth and nail to get accountability for Joe Biden’s failures…

…especially the ones that led to dead soldiers and trapped civilians in Afghanistan - the same mission where my son nearly risked his life fighting for our country.

All of this has severely cut into Brian’s ability to fundraise for his re-election campaign.

So, that got me thinking: since Brian’s birthday is coming up this weekend, I want to do something special for him by helping him raise $10,000 for his campaign as a surprise before the big day on Sunday.

This won’t just be a great birthday gesture - it will also provide a critical boost to help Brian keep up his service for the United States of America.

Do you think you can help?
I appreciate this support, and I know that Brian will, too. Let’s help him defend this great nation as a surprise birthday gift and as a thank you for his service.

Sincerely,
Jim Mast
