Ongoing mosquito control

mosquito

The Kendall County Health Department reports that mosquitos collected in late June in Plano and Yorkville have tested positive for the West Nile virus.

Oswego contracts with Clarke to provide an ongoing mosquito abatement program. Clarke uses a comprehensive program providing surveillance of the mosquito population, larval control and adult mosquito control to help minimize mosquito population to prevent nuisance mosquitoes and help suppress outbreaks of West Nile virus.
You can also take steps around your home to prevent mosquitos and protect you and your family members from bites.
Learn how you can help prevent the West Nile virus with these tips from the Kendall County Health Department.
