Red States Are Winning the Post-Pandemic Economy
Per The Wall Street Journal: The pandemic has changed the geography of the American economy. By many measures, red states—those that lean Republican—have recovered faster economically than Democratic-leaning blue ones, with workers and employers moving from the coasts to the middle of the country and Florida. Since February 2020, the month before the pandemic began, the share of all U.S. jobs located in red states has grown by more than half a percentage point, according to an analysis of Labor Department data by the Brookings Institution think tank. Red states have added 341,000 jobs over that time, while blue states were still short 1.3 million jobs as of May.

Biden Administration Sues Arizona for Requiring Proof of Citizenship for Federal Voting
Per Fox News: A move by the Department of Justice to block Arizona’s election law that seeks to stop non-citizens from voting has sparked a fiery response from the state’s attorney general -- who is questioning whether the agency is seeking to undermine sovereignty. "In addition to free rooms and transportation for those illegally entering our country, the DOJ now wants to give them a chance to vote," Attorney General Mark Brnovich told Fox News Digital after the DOJ announced it was suing the state on Tuesday. "It's another round of Brnovich v. Biden. I will see you in court…again."
Biden Continues Gas Prices Blame Game, This Time, Hitting Business Owners. One of Them Hits Back.
Per The Dickinson Press: President Joe Biden is putting the blame for high gas prices on gas station owners…How does an actual gas station owner feel about that? "He seems to think we can drop the price 20 cents to be patriotic," Kent Satrang said on this episode of Plain Talk. Satrang is the owner of Petro Serve USA, which has several locations in North Dakota and Minnesota. He said he doesn't really get to choose his gas prices. His company posts them on the signs along the road, but the amounts are set by a very competitive marketplace.
