The 151st General Assembly concluded its session last week! Over the course of the previous six months, one thing has been clear, Delaware Democrats are dedicated to committing core Party Platform priorities to law and ensuring the legislature works for all Delawareans.

Here are just a few of the highlights of Democrats were able to do this session:
✅ Paid Family and Medical Leave : Ensures that workers in the First State will be able to take time off to care for an ailing loved one, bond with a new child, or address their own serious health conditions.
✅ Gun Safety Reforms : Help to combat gun violence by raising the age to purchase firearms, prohibiting the buying, selling, and possession of assault-style weapons, strengthening background checks, and more.
✅ Expanded Abortion Access Protections: Renews Delaware's commitment to choice by better enabling pregnant people to make their own decisions about their bodies and protecting abortion providers.
✅ Vote by Mail : Gives Delaware voters another safe and secure option for casting their ballot on terms that work best for them, their families, and their schedules by letting them mail their vote directly to the Dept. of Elections.
The great work that Delaware Democrats were able to get done this session only reinforces just how important this November's election is. The stakes have never been higher and it is up to us to elect Democrats that reflect our values.
