Let’s cut straight to the point: The Trump Administration is striking down an
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rule that was established after 15 people
died in an explosion fueled by more than 80,000 pounds of unsafely stored
ammonium nitrate in a Texas plant in 2013.

This weakening of the EPA removes several key public safety procedures,
including requiring companies to conduct an analysis after major chemical
releases.
