McConnell issues major warning to Democrats: GOP will walk away from China competition bill if they push party-line economic plan

John,

Last month, the Senate took unprecedented, bipartisan steps to position the United States to lead global industries and effectively compete with China. Under Chris's leadership, the U.S. Innovation and Competition Act (USICA) was passed in the Senate by a vote of 68-32.

Now, Mitch McConnell is threatening to completely kill this historic bill if Democrats continue pursuing a bill that would lower the price of prescription drugs and address the climate crisis.

This is unacceptable, John. Our elected leaders should be working together to make policy that works for all Americans, not blocking progress and holding our country hostage.

USICA includes critical economic, climate, and foreign policy initiatives. We can't let McConnell hold this legislation hostage.

Now more than ever, Chris knows that it’s in our best interest to protect our place in the world and strengthen our alliances.

We can't let critical bipartisan legislation get held hostage by Mitch McConnell. If you support Chris's legislation to invest in innovation and help us compete with China, add your name today >> [link removed]

Thank you,

Team Coons
