It's now been a few weeks since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, and in that time, we have seen many states take action to protect reproductive rights. We have also seen many other states move to completely ban abortions, endangering their citizens and putting millions of lives at risk.

We knew this would happen, and this discrepancy in rights across states is exactly why I have been advocating for years that protections that were once offered by Roe v. Wade should be codified into law. Human rights should NOT be up for debate, and I am doing everything I can to make sure that we can all be equal in this country and have access to necessary healthcare no matter where you live.

Legislation to codify reproductive rights has been held hostage in the Senate by regressive and anti-science politicians for long enough; it's time to move and make this moment count.

In the House, my colleagues and I have already done our duty and passed the Women's Health Protection Act. Now, the Senate must act in the interest of the American people.

I refuse to live in a world where the women of today have fewer rights than their mothers, and I'm ready to fight for federal protection of abortion. Are you with me? Sign this petition to demand the Senate codify reproductive rights.
