John – It seems like each decision handed down by the Supreme Court last month was worse than the one before it. And this radical court is not done. After throwing out our constitutionally protected right to abortion, severely restricting states’ ability to pass common sense gun safety, tearing down the separation of church and state, and gutting the EPA’s regulatory authority to address the deepening climate crisis – now they’re telling us they’re coming for our elections, outright.

Too many of our lawmakers are clinging to the hope that “the fever will break” and everyone involved in these vital institutions will come to their senses. But the string of decisions handed down by SCOTUS last month made it clear that they don’t care about decades of legal precedent, they don’t care about our rights, and they don’t care about reflecting the values of working people in this country. Instead, they’re focused on abusing their power to jam their radical agenda through and force their backwards policies onto the rest of us. Here’s what Congress can do today:
|
- Wipe out Mitch McConnell’s court-packing and expand the number of justices appointed to the court. The Supreme Court has been expanded MANY times in our nation’s history, and under far less dire conditions than we face today.
- Impeach Justices Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Coney Barrett for lying under oath during their confirmation hearings and misrepresenting their intentions about overturning Roe v Wade.
- Impeach Justice Thomas for refusing to recuse himself from a case involving his wife, Ginny Thomas, and her involvement in the January 6th insurrection.
- Institute term limits and ethical standards for judicial appointees to eliminate partisanship on the bench.

We need serious reform RIGHT NOW before this dangerous, rogue court issues any more radical decisions to dismantle our democracy. Add your name and tell Congress to reform the Supreme Court NOW:
