Friends,

Our donor match is still active, but not for long!

Every dollar you give to support our advocacy for principled leadership in
Washington today will be matched by a donation to bring Members of
Congress to Israel and the West Bank to see the impact and injustice of
conflict and occupation up close.

donation brings us closer to our goal >>

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last week, we fell short of our midyear fundraising goal.

Between ongoing settlement expansion, demolitions in the West Bank and
AIPAC’s efforts to defeat principled political leaders here at home, our
work remains as urgent as ever.

That’s why we’re deeply thankful that a J Street donor has pledged to
match up to $5,000 in donations to help us close the gap.

Today, every single dollar you donate to support our advocacy in
Washington will be matched by an equal donation to support our
Congressional Education Program -- bringing Members of Congress and key
staff on honest, no-holds-barred trips to Israel and the West Bank to see
the true impact of the conflict and the occupation up close.

I said before that our work remains as urgent as ever, here’s why:

In Israel, authorities are continuing to move ahead with disastrous
eviction and demolition plans -- including the largest mass eviction plan
in decades which would leave over 1,000 Palestinians homeless. These plans
undercut hopes for a peaceful resolution and endanger Israel’s future as a
democratic homeland for the Jewish people.

In Washington, thanks in part to our unrelenting advocacy, members of both
the House and Senate are speaking out and pushing back. We’re making real,
tangible progress against AIPAC and their right-wing allies as they
continue to fight even the most modest efforts to protect Palestinian
rights, stand up to the settlement movement and safeguard Israeli
democracy.

And with President Biden set to visit Israel and the West Bank next week,
we are continuing to press the administration to represent the concerns of
the overwhelming majority of Americans who want to see real, meaningful
leadership to protect the rights and freedoms of both Israelis and
Palestinians.

Together, we’re making a real difference. And together, we can close our
current shortfall and ensure our movement has the resources it needs to
fight for what’s right.

Please consider a matched contribution today and make your donation go
twice as far. [ [link removed] ]Make a matched contribution now >>
