Dear John,
The Supreme Court of the United States' crusade to erode democracy and the separation between church and state as we know it isn't stopping with the overturn of Roe v. Wade. Now, the Court is inviting public school teachers to impose their religious beliefs on students. Just last week, they sided with former high school football coach Joe Kennedy, who repeatedly led his players in prayers immediately after games.
Since our founding, TFN has worked with religious and community leaders who support religious freedom, and we continue to act as the state's watchdog for monitoring far-right issues and organizations.
The religious right's unapologetic attempts to inject their beliefs into Texas' public education is nothing new to us at TFN — but this SCOTUS ruling makes us particularly wary.

Under the guise of defending the freedom of all religions, extremists are increasingly taking up space in public education, and foisting their own singular religious views on impressionable children. But we will not be silent like they hope.
Our students should never feel excluded at a public school—whether in a classroom or on the football field. We have the power to speak up for children in our communities, and that's precisely the aim of TFN's [[link removed]] #TeachTheTruth campaign [[link removed]] , which gives you the tools and resources to fight educational censorship in your local schools and communities.
Our students need you—I hope you'll fight for true religious liberty by joining the #TeachTheTruth community today. [[link removed]]
