Hi Friend,
Summer in Michigan is a wonderful time. We are blessed with a beautiful state full of lakes great and small, trails for hiking and biking, and warm summer nights. As we enjoy this season, we rely on first responders to keep our communities safe.
As a strong ally of our public safety and first responder organizations, I’ve co-sponsored legislation to increase funding for state and local law enforcement by $300 million. I’ve also developed strong partnerships with key agencies, and am proud to have been endorsed by:

* Police Officers Association of Michigan
* Michigan Professional Firefighters Union
* Michigan Nurses Association
I’m grateful to all of our first responders, and will work to ensure that they are able to continue protecting our communities.
