CONCORD, NH – July 7, 2022 – Today New Hampshire entrepreneur and U.S. Senate candidate Vikram Mansharamani released his end-of-quarter fundraising totals, announcing that he raised over $830,000 and had nearly $800,000 cash-on-hand.
“Since I announced that I was running at the end of April, I have been humbled by the support I am receiving. Granite Staters know we need to send a businessman to Washington, DC to clean up this mess,” said Mansharamani. “In just over two months, we have raised a remarkable amount of money. Our campaign is picking up momentum and the pace is accelerating.”
This is Mansharamani’s first fundraising quarter and it exceeds the first quarters of both Chuck Morse and Kevin Smith. Morse raised $749,957.84 in his first quarter and had $671,884 cash-on-hand; Kevin Smith raised $409,485.82 and had $312,487 cash-on-hand. Mansharamani raised $831,395.58 and has $789,716.19 cash-on-hand. Mansharamani’s total includes $568,135.03 from individuals and a personal contribution of just over $250,000.
“Given the amount of support I have received, I am confident that we will win this election. And since I am asking people to bet on me, I am going to bet on myself. That is why I have decided to make a personal contribution,” said Mansharamani. “Maggie Hassan is raising a lot of money from her liberal donors and the Republican nominee will need to have the resources it takes to beat her. Given my fundraising this quarter, I have proven that I will have the money it takes to defeat her in November.”
