Governments have refocused on the near future. Most corporations have a short view. Green House Gases continue to accumulate - 415ppm , 65ppm over 350!
350.org, and many other groups, continue sounding the alarm as most of the world is focused elsewhere. On Fridays 350MKE is reminding people and Chase that Chase is part of the Money Pipeline.
We do get engagement.

Plastic Reduction and You
Marissa Jablonski, PhD
Executive Director, Freshwater Collaborative of Wisconsin
What is your relationship with plastic?
How often do you think about it? Monthly, weekly, daily?
Does it impact your life?
If you've watched Dr. Jablonski's TEDx talks or seen her speak elsewhere you know what an engaging speaker she is. Don't miss this chance for an interactive discussion with her!
Dr. Jablonski is an accomplished water engineer, environmental advisor, and plastics-reduction expert who has worked in more than 45 countries on Earth. Her way of understanding and engaging in complex interactions between human beings and environmental systems, combined with her skills in storytelling and systems processes, make her a much sought after consultant and public speaker.
Marissa lives her life as part of a global community. She is a founding member and mentor to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee student chapter of Engineers Without Borders, and advises on the design and implementation of projects in Guatemala. She also serves as International Coordinator of a Guatemalan-led NGO that builds infrastructure with indigenous communities’ to meet the needs of five groups involved in each project.

In conjunction with Earth Day and the fact that there is profound inaction on climate, an unexpected dance took place at the Dane County Farmers' Market on April 23, 2022, outside Chase Bank, the #1 funder of fossil fuels. The message? If you feel climate despair, try activism! Only everyone can save us now!
