Dear John,
We are thrilled to invite you to a special virtual event that will bring our national NIAC Action community together in support of Darya Farivar for Washington State House. Join us on Thursday, July 21 at 5pm PT (6pm CT, 7pm ET) for a virtual event and fundraiser with Darya. You’ll have the chance to gather with fellow Iranian Americans and allies in Washington state and nationally, meet Darya, and learn how we can elect this powerful woman to represent us in the Washington state house.

First-time candidate and Iranian-American woman Darya Farivar is running to serve in the Washington State legislature. Darya's history of service is impressive – she works as the Director of Public Policy at Disability Rights Washington, served as the Co-Chair of the Seattle Women's Commission, was the Policy Chair on the State's Special Education Advisory Council, and is a Board Member of Peyvand, an organization supporting Iranian students at the University of Washington. If elected, Darya will become the first Middle Eastern woman to ever serve in the Washington State legislature.
Darya is running in a heated primary election with a vision for equal opportunity and justice for all in the state of Washington. We need your support to help get her elected!
Please RSVP to join us for this special event on July 21 with Darya and NIAC Action members across the country!
Please reply to this email if you have any questions. We hope to see you there!
In gratitude,
Mitra Jalali
Senior Political Advisor, NIAC Action
