Understanding our impact. The SPLC is marking another year of
important impacts we've been able to make with the help of our
generous supporters and partners, through a collection of data and
reporting available in a brand new home on our website. Read report.

Dismantling white nationalism and protecting democracy. The SPLC is
working to promote and inclusive and equitable society by reducing the
number of people who support white nationalist ideology and its
resulting public policies. We do this through advocacy, litigation and
exposing the influence of extremism and how it spreads to the public.
Last year marked an unprecedented investment by the SPLC in fighting
hate and securing democracy across the South as we prompted internal
investigations in the Department of Homeland Security after we
revealed the harmful activities of extremist militias at the
U.S.-Mexico border and Customs and Border Patrol's tacit endorsement
of these activities. Combated online youth radicalization through our
caregivers' guide to prevent extremism - just seven minutes of
review made caregivers significantly more likely to recognize the
warning signs of radicalization in youth. Facilitated the passage of
the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act of 2021 through our many years of
advocacy for better hate crime reporting statutes. Tracked and
monitored 1,221 hate and extremist groups, exposing and blunting the
influence of their ideology at all levels of government. Combating
hate and extremism is a cornerstone of our work, and these highlights
are just a few of our many accomplishments over the past year. To
learn more about the victories blunting hate by the SPLC and our
partners in 2021, view the full impact report here.

The country needs our work now more than ever. The SPLC has been
tracking, monitoring and countering hate and extremism for decades. We
are so proud of the progress recorded in our 2021 Impact Report, and
we could not have been doing this work for so long, with such success,
without the generosity and support of people like you. Please make a
special gift to the SPLC today so we can continue our campaign to
dismantle white nationalism into 2022 and beyond. Donate now.
