John,
I hope you had a wonderful, relaxing Fourth of July weekend. I know summer in Minnesota can get busy, so I wanted to touch base and make sure you were up to speed on the latest developments in our race:
- Now that Roe v. Wade is overturned, Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan are officially the last line of defense for abortion rights in Minnesota.
- The most recent public polling shows our anti-choice extremist GOP opponent, Scott Jensen, in a statistical dead-heat with Governor Walz.
- RealClearPolitics downgraded their rating for our race from “Lean Democratic” to “Toss-up.”
And if that’s not enough, John, our first public fundraising deadline since Roe v. Wade was overturned is just eleven days away. Our race is one of the closest in the entire country, so all eyes will be on us when our report is published.
To prove that this grassroots team has never been more fired up to win in November, we set an ambitious grassroots goal of 5,000 individual donations by our public deadline on Monday, July 18.
According to our records, you’ve yet to donate this year. There’s no better time to make an impact with a donation that works for you than right now. Pitch in and help us prove that our campaign for One Minnesota is stronger than ever.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Thank you,
Nichole Johnson

Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan have overcome unprecedented challenges to provide historic investments in education, create new, good-paying jobs, and increase access to health care. And with your help, they can defeat their extremist Republican opponents and continue to move our state forward, as one Minnesota. Can you pitch in $5 now to help them stop extremism and keep Minnesota in DFL hands?
