Every woman deserves the right to make her own personal reproductive health care decisions without political interference. But last month, nearly 50 years of precedent were undone when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and millions of women lost power over their bodies and lives.

This Supreme Court's ruling is disastrous and tragic, and Republicans aren't just stopping at overturning Roe. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said a ban that would make abortion illegal nationwide is "possible" and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy proposed a national ban on abortion.

Seth's opponent, Allan Fung, opposed codifying Roe v. Wade in Rhode Island and was endorsed by RI Right to Life, a group that wants to make abortion illegal.

It's never been more important that we elect pro-choice Democratic leaders to Congress to fight back against attacks on reproductive rights. In Congress, Seth will fight to ensure reproductive rights are protected for all, support codifying Roe into federal law nationwide, and block states from enacting barriers to accessing abortion care.
