Sanctuary Governor Cooper Should Feel Right At Home In San Francisco

Raleigh, NC — During his declared Winter Weather Preparedness Week, Governor Cooper wasn't anywhere near any resemblance of winter weather. Instead, as WRAL reported, he was in California, where he should feel right at home in sanctuary city San Francisco while hanging out with a sanctuary governors Phil Murphy of New Jersey and Gavin Newsom of California.

Governor Murphy proudly reiterated <[link removed]> that New Jersey would be a sanctuary state under his leadership, and Governor Newsom did the same <[link removed]> in his victory speech. Cooper's penchant for radicalism joined Murphy and Newsom as a sanctuary governor with his veto of HB 370, choosing to endanger the public in order to bow to the far left.

Cooper once again failed to let Lt. Gov. Dan Forest <[link removed]> know that he was out of state, adhering to the egregious lack of transparency that has been a hallmark of Cooper's administration. In a disastrous interview with WBTV <[link removed]>, Cooper couldn't remember how he got to his re-election campaign kickoff event in January and another fundraiser in June, both in New York City and home to sanctuary Governor Andrew Cuomo <[link removed]>.

All of this comes on the heels of a report by investigators who found "that criminal violations may have occurred <[link removed]>" regarding Governor Cooper's $58M slush fund, and a reliably liberal editorial board calling for an investigation <[link removed]> by an agency with subpoena power.

It's clear that for Roy Cooper to feel at home among his fellow radical liberals or escape his administration's incompetence, he has to leave North Carolina.
