John, today our
digital team was going to write you an email about Big Oil’s price
gouging, but we thought John’s tweets on the issue summed it up pretty
well. ⬇️

John Fetterman [1]Verified @JohnFetterman
[2]@JohnFetterman Paying 18 cents more a gallon might be a drop in the
bucket for someone as absurdly wealthy as Dr. Oz.

But for a single mother with two kids making a
shitty minimum wage of $7.25/hr, it *really*
matters.

John Fetterman [3]Verified @JohnFetterman
[4]@JohnFetterman PRICE GOUGING IS IMMORAL!!!!!

That’s the tweet

John Fetterman [5]Verified @JohnFetterman
[6]@JohnFetterman Big Oil greed doesn’t end at the pump.

America’s Farmers are getting crushed on the job
because they can’t fuel their tractors, + can’t
repair broken equipment either.

We need to make more sh*t in America to bring down
these costs.

John Fetterman [7]Verified @John Fetterman
[8]@JohnFetterman We can use American energy to drive down prices at
the Gas Pump + employ American workers to drive down
the price of everything, for everyone.

This isn’t a radical proposal. It’s basic common
sense. 💯

[ [link removed] ]John, if
you’re with John on this, please add your name to our petition today
demanding that Big Oil stop their immoral price gouging at the pumps
immediately. Working
Pennsylvanians
cannot afford corporate greed.

Not totally convinced? Here are some more tweets that help explain the
issue:

John Fetterman [11]Verified @JohnFetterman
[12]@JohnFetterman Gas is over $5 a gallon right now.

The last time a barrel of crude oil cost this much
was in July 2014. At that point a gallon of gas
only cost about $3.54.

Let’s be clear: Oil companies don’t need to be
charging this much for gas. They’re just doing it
to make excess profits.

John Fetterman [13]Verified @JohnFetterman
[14]@JohnFetterman If it wasn’t for the greed of oil companies, gas
prices wouldn’t be this high.

We can use American energy to drive down prices at
the pump for American workers, and we can use
American workers to drive down the price of
everything, for everyone.

John Fetterman [15]Verified @JohnFetterman
[16]@JohnFetterman Families across Pennsylvania are paying $5 a gallon
for gas, while Exxon Mobile, Chevron, and other oil
companies are making record profits.

It's morally wrong, ESPECIALLY while these massive
oil companies and their CEOs are doing better than
ever.

We need to crack down on this

[ [link removed] ]If you agree with John, please add your name today to demand that Big
Oil stop price gouging immediately. Big Oil should not be able to rob
Americans at the pump in the name of excess profit.
