Friend,
I used to play football.
Check out the picture of me above.
The biggest lesson I learned while playing this great sport, other than how to take a hit, was that as part of a singularly focused team, one can achieve so much more than they ever could on their own.
Every player does their part to ensure the ball crosses the goal line; once it does, everybody on the team scores.
Not everybody touches the ball, but everybody has a part to play on the road to victory. It’s very similar to our unified effort to take back the Senate.
Winning back the Senate majority is not a game, but the principle remains the same. When every person chips in to do their part, we have the best chance of achieving our goal, no matter what that goal may be!
But that’s not the end! In football, for a team to win, they need to score as much as possible before time expires. In other words, their time to achieve the goal is limited.
We’re one seat away from taking the Senate, but this is not a one-man job! We need everyone to do their part because the game is on, and it is SO CLOSE! But we can win if we work as a team.
So, Friend, will you help us carry the team to victory?

Our mid-month deadline has been extended, and time is running out. If you do your part, I am confident we can get back on track to meet our goal and win.
Thank you, team!
Senator Tim Scott
