The Senate passed a bill that will make sure veterans exposed to toxins while serving our country get the health care and benefits they’ve earned. Sherrod led the charge to get this measure -- which is named after Central Ohio veteran Heath Robinson, who passed away in 2020 from cancer resulting from toxic exposure -- over the finish line.

OH-SEN UPDATE:It’s been just over a year since J.D. Vance entered the Ohio Senate race, and now, he’s the GOP nominee. Vance wants to be a rubber stamp for Donald Trump and his special-interest friends. Tim Ryan is on the ballot to put working Ohioans first. Polls show this race is virtually tied, so we need to throw as much grassroots support as possible Tim’s way.
OH-09 UPDATE:Donald Trump endorsed the GOP candidate running against Ohio Rep. Marcy Kaptur. Marcy’s opponent is a QAnon conspiracy theorist who was at the January 6th insurrection. (Yes, you read that right.) This race is a tossup and is expected to be one of Marcy’s toughest yet due to GOP gerrymandering.
There’s growing momentum in the Senate for Sherrod’s bill to remove an antiquated SSI rule so people with disabilities can save more without risking the benefits they depend on. That’s what Sherrod and Democrats want to do: improve Social Security for those who need it. What does the GOP want to do? Gut Social Security. Help us get the word out.
