Bernie and I have just endorsed Becca Balint, Vermont Senate President Pro Tempore, for Vermont’s open Congressional seat.
The Vermont primary is August 9, and we need your help to send more progressive champions to Congress to fight for working families, reproductive and LGBTQ+ rights, Medicare for All, and a Green New Deal.
We need Senator Balint in Washington. She has a long track record of fighting for the people as a teacher, an activist, and as Vermont’s first female President Pro Tempore in the State Senate. She has the grit and determination to meet America’s biggest problems with bold solutions like paid family and medical leave, an assault weapons ban, and codifying Roe v. Wade into federal law. I’m proud to give her my full support.
