Hi Team,

I wanted to send you a note today about why I’m in this race. 

If someone were to ask me why I got involved in politics, I could give an hour long answer about all the issues that are important to our campaign and to America. 

But it wouldn’t really answer the question, would it?

I’m in this race because I demand that we talk about the things that Americans actually believe in. I'm in this race because our like-minded supporters care as much as we do. I’m in this race because we have a responsibility to future generations — a responsibility to speak up about American ideals, the rule of law, and what it takes to be the leader of the free world. 

We may not agree on every issue, but I promise to listen to your concerns. And at the end of the day, I want you to know that I’m both grateful and proud to have your support, because nothing is more American than fighting to make this country a better place.
