For nearly 50 years, the right to choose was de facto constitutionally protected in America, but that’s no longer the case. This is a pivotal moment in U.S. history.
The late Ruth Bader Ginsburg and other brave feminists of her generation fought too hard and for too long for us to just sit back and let this happen.
NOW is the time for us to put it all on the line and FIGHT ! Fight for RBG, fight for your mother, fight for your children, fight for all the people in your life this decision will put at risk.
This nightmarish decision highlights the paramount importance of EXPANDING our Democratic majorities in the House and especially the Senate.
The only way to stop this nightmare now that it’s become our reality is for Congress to codify Roe into law and expand the court to make sure the current conservative majority can’t block it.
For that to happen, the Senate will need to either defeat or end the filibuster – which will take two more Democratic senators than we have now, thanks to Sens. Manchin and Sinema cooperating with the Republicans to obstruct any meaningful progress.
