Hi there,
I’m Justin, Michael’s campaign manager. The general election is underway. Here’s an early update on the race and what Michael’s opponent has been up to.
Michael spent Independence Day marching with his wife Susan and his grassroots campaign team in Greeley and Denver, Colorado. On the other hand, after paying his way to a primary victory, Michael’s opponent spent the holiday weekend at his lake house while his team marched in parades on his behalf.
His opponent takes Coloradans for granted, and can pick lavish weekend getaways over meeting voters face-to-face because he can turn to his personal checkbook or the National GOP’s $200-million war chest when grassroots enthusiasm is low.
So, while I won’t tell you the sky is falling if you don’t pitch in $10 or $25 today, I can tell you that I want to blow our fundraising goal out of the water this month.
Our opponent ignores working Coloradans because he’ll just be a rubber stamp for the MAGA agenda. We don’t have to outraise National Republicans and their war chest — but if everyone reading this pitches in any amount, we’ll smash our fundraising goal and send a message loud and clear that this won’t be an easy race.
Michael is fighting for Coloradans in the Senate where he banned surprise emergency medical bills, passed legislation to improve access to clean water on Tribal Lands, expanded the monthly Child Tax Credit that kept nearly 4 million kids out of poverty, and helped pass historic legislation to repair our roads and bridges and create good-paying jobs. This re-election campaign is about building on that work.
Pitch in $10 — or what works for your budget — to help us knock our fundraising out of the park this month. The National GOP is watching this race closely, so help us send a strong and clear message.
