Dear Friend,
The Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade has triggered chaos all
over the country as people scramble to access the abortion care they need
anywhere, any way they can.(1)
Some are facing life-threatening pregnancy complications. Others, unsure
where to go or whom to trust in states where abortion is banned, will have
to navigate care on their own and at great risk.
The reality is that as long as abortion is banned, lives and livelihoods
are at stake. But instead of taking urgent action, some Senate Democrats
are acting like there's nothing they can do -- which is complete nonsense.
Democrats have the power to reinstate the protections of Roe v. Wade
immediately if they vote to bypass the filibuster rule -- and President
Biden just called on the Senate to do just that.(2) But Senate moderates
like Dianne Feinstein won't do it unless they feel overwhelming pressure
from their constituents.
We're mobilizing our hundreds of thousands of members to demand action to
legalize abortion now, but we need an influx of funding to help flood
Capitol Hill with phone calls and turn up the heat. Will you donate

It's not enough for senators to give sorrowful speeches, blame
Republicans, or attack the Supreme Court. They must act.
As you read this, countless thousands of pregnant people are scrambling to
figure out how they can travel hundreds of miles to the nearest abortion
provider, take time off work, find a place to stay, and get child care for
their kids.
Some are victims of rape or incest. Others are facing life-threatening
pregnancy complications. Many won't have the money or resources they need
to travel and will be left with no options.
Friend, we can't just wait the years or decades that it will take
to replace the radical right-wing majority on the Supreme Court. We must
demand that Democrats act immediately to bypass the filibuster rule and
restore abortion rights in all 50 states. Will you donate $5
