Hey there, it’s Jason from Team Healey. This message is pretty important, so I hope you’ll take a minute to read it.

Right now, abortion access, gun safety, climate action, and LGBTQ+ rights are being challenged all across the country – with governors at the center of these fights. That makes races like ours especially important.

There are so many reasons why this race matters, but I’ve narrowed it down to 3:

1. Governors hold the power to protect, or take away, our basic rights. We’re witnessing the impact of that power in states like Texas and Florida, where governors are signing laws that roll back our reproductive freedom, target LGBTQ+ youth, and infringe on voting rights.

2. These kinds of attacks aren’t slowing down. In GOP-led state legislatures across the country, we’re seeing copycat versions of these bills emerge. Democratic Governors are our last line of defense to strike them down.

3. We have a huge opportunity to elect a Governor with the experience and the drive to face these challenges head-on – that’s Maura.

As the People’s Lawyer, Maura has protected abortion access, blocked attempts to restrict the freedom to vote, and stood in support of our LGBTQ+ youth. I know she’ll do the same as Governor, but first we have to win this important race.

To do that, we have to reach voters all across the state, explain what’s at stake, and show them that Maura’s up to the job. Powering our on-the-ground voter outreach work hinges on raising another $6,500 today.

Every dollar you chip in helps power our campaign and gets us one step closer to electing a leader who will defend our rights. So I’m personally asking: will you chip in $9?
