The majority of Americans and Ohioans are in support of abortion rights. That should be reflected in our leadership.

Sadly, Ohio is now poised to be one of the most radical states in the country when it comes to anti-abortion laws.

Mike DeWine said he would “go as far as we can'' to attack women’s reproductive rights in Ohio. Just hours following the Supreme Court ruling, DeWine signed an executive order instating a six-week abortion ban. Most women don’t even know they are pregnant by six weeks. Now, he’s determined to take it further – banning exceptions for rape and incest.

Nan Whaley proudly supports a ballot initiative codifying Roe v. Wade in the state’s constitution. She also pledged to veto any anti-choice legislation that reaches her desk and appoint a pro-choice director to the Ohio Department of Public Health.

We have the power to protect reproductive rights here in Ohio. This November, Ohioans will take their outrage to the polls and defeat the extremist Republicans who gutted our freedom to choose.
