Having recently watched footage of chickens and pigs subjected to Ventilation Shutdown including air deprivation, extreme heat and carbon dioxide poisoning, I can say that cruelty to an animal does not get any worse. The AVMA needs to take a stand on behalf of the chickens, turkeys, pigs and other victims of agribusiness, in keeping with the association's Oath to protect animals rather than abandoning them to merciless processes.
