John, sorry to email you again today, but I had to make sure you saw my team’s earlier email about the Supreme Court’s latest horrifying decision.

By upholding this Republican-gerrymandered Congressional map, the Supreme Court is silencing Black voters and setting a precedent for gerrymandering cases to come.

Our work has never been more important.

John,

Apparently, the conservative-majority Supreme Court isn’t done delivering horrifying and devastating opinions this month …

Less than a week after the overturning of Roe v. Wade, they handed down this decision:

“Supreme Court allows Louisiana to use congressional map that lower court said likely violates Voting Rights Act”

That’s right — the Supreme Court has allowed a congressional map that weakened and diluted Black Louisianans’ votes.

It’s a horrible decision, but came as a result of the ultra-conservative Supreme Court majority.

There is only one course of action forward: We must keep fighting for voting rights on the local and state level. If the Supreme Court will not block gerrymandering, we have to continue to do everything in our power to protect the vote.

But we need your support.

Will you rush a donation to Power the Vote right now? We urgently need your support.

We Fund Voter Protection

In 2020, we ran the Democratic Party’s Voter Protection Program in Georgia, when the state flipped blue for the first time in nearly 30 years.

We pioneered a new model of voter protection, built on sustained investments and long-lasting relationships.

Now, we’re building on that success and adapting the Georgia model to fight voter suppression in other states.
