Friend,

The price of a barrel of oil has lowered but prices at the pump have not. All while profits for oil companies are hitting an all-time high. This is wrong and there's no reason to allow corporate greed to go unchecked.

The Gouge Act would maintain transportation funds, suspend the federal gas tax, offer incentives for states to suspend their gas taxes while placing large fines on oil and gas companies who commit price gouging to discourage corporate greed.

There is no reason why gas prices should be this high and it's time to hold oil companies accountable.
