Hi John,

As an undocumented person, mental health has always been at the heart of my story. That’s why I chose to pursue a career as a therapist. I am eager to tackle the stigmas associated with mental health and open up access to it for my community.

I stumbled upon the Mental Health Career Program at Immigrants Rising and it changed my life. This program supports the professional development of aspiring undocumented mental health professionals who need to accumulate hours towards their licensure in California.

I’m excited to share with you that Immigrants Rising’s Mental Health Career Program is accepting applications for a new cohort of aspiring undocumented mental health professionals! Participants will receive $14,000 in stipend, one-on-one mentorship from licensed clinical therapists, and most importantly, the hours required for licensure. You can learn more about the program in our webinar.

The program gave me the opportunity to connect with mental health services and the private practice sector. I was matched with an amazing supervisor who has been a wonderful mentor and guide.

The support I’ve received through the program gives me hope that I can get through this journey of serving our community through these turbulent times. Please share this email with 3 of your friends and colleagues so that we can make sure that we foster the next generation of undocumented mental health professionals.

Thanks,
Julio
