You probably already know that Alex is on the ballot twice this November — once to finish the term he was appointed to after Kamala Harris became Vice President, and again for a full 6-year term.

But what you might not know is that Alex’s opponent Mark Meuser is also on the ballot twice. And with such a slim majority in the Senate, we cannot take any chances.

Alex’s opponent Mark Meuser:

Says he supports the right-wing Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade,

Is against expanding background checks or limiting the sale of guns in response to mass shootings,

And has questioned the results of the 2020 election and said Trump was right about voter fraud.
Yes, his views are way out of line with California, but we cannot afford to underestimate him. He's running this race with the full support — and financial resources — of the California GOP.

Just like they spent millions of dollars on the failed right-wing Recall attempt against Governor Newsom, they are willing to spend millions of dollars coming after Alex before Election Day.

So we are asking:

Alex’s fight to reform the immigration system, tackle climate change by passing a Green New Deal, and ensure access to quality and affordable health care by passing Medicare for All means there are a lot of powerful interests who want to stop us.

But as long as we continue to stand together, our grassroots movement is stronger than any special interest or Republican opponent.
