Keep FAIR Steadfast & Independent

Dear FAIR Family,

We have a particularly inspiring community of readers and listeners who support us. Even when times have been challenging, our supporters have always generously given whatever they could spare to ensure our work continues.

As we enter our summer fund drive, FAIR is once again asking for your support. Help us raise $20,000 by August 1!

As I’m sure you can imagine, our expenses are going up. As the costs of living and running our organization rise, we’re still committed to providing the same thorough research and in-depth analyses our audience has relied on for decades.

Our fundraising goals are becoming more ambitious, but I believe our community is too. The need for real information to cope with the many crises we face becomes ever more obvious.

This spring has brought several horrifying mass shootings, the dystopian Supreme Court opinion on abortion rights, the horrific death of a Palestinian journalist in the West Bank, the continuing devastation of the pandemic, the persistance of nightmarish conditions for refugees at the US border, new signs of the arrival of the climate catastrophe. … The list goes on. Our small and scrappy operation is committed to bringing you the analyses you need on the vital issues too often overlooked or misreported in corporate media.

In the upcoming months, we plan to give you even more analyses on pressing issues like the midterm elections, climate change, reproductive rights and gun violence.

As you know, individual donors are the main source of FAIR’s revenue! Zero percent of our support comes from advertising money, corporations or government grants. Independence will always remain one of our core values.

During our spring fund drive, you helped us meet our goal.

 Help us do it again!

We are forever grateful for the support from our community of readers, listeners and media activists. It’s rare that a small, progressive organization survives and thrives for over three decades—but we've been able to do it because of your help.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Sincerely,
Olivia Riggio
