We’re excited to announce our new #FreeTheFresnoElephants Interview Series!
For three consecutive Wednesdays in July, NhRP staff will interview friends of the NhRP who’ve lent their expertise in support of our new elephant rights case in California. We’ll discuss their work, how it relates to our case and campaign to #FreeTheFresnoElephants, and more. They’ll also take your questions via the chat box.

July 13th at 12 p.m. ET: Dr. Keith Lindsay with Courtney Fern, NhRP Director of Government Relations and Campaigns [[link removed]]
Dr. Keith Lindsay is a biologist and one the world’s foremost experts on elephants with more than 30 years of experience in elephant research and conservation. His work began in 1977 in Kenya’s Amboseli National Park. Dr. Lindsay’s professional work with elephants has expanded to other parts of the world including Africa, Asia, and North America.
July 20th at 3 p.m. ET: Dr. Bob Jacobs with Jake Davis, NhRP Staff Attorney [[link removed]]
Dr. Bob Jacobs received his Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics at UCLA. He became a member of the Colorado College Psychology department in 1993 and developed the Neuroscience major in 1996. His research interests include language acquisition, non-human animal communication, cognitive neuroethology, comparative neuroanatomy, and animal welfare.
July 27th at 3 p.m. ET: Gigi Glendinning with Lauren Choplin, NhRP Communications Director [[link removed]]
Gigi Glendinning is a photographer and advocate who has been documenting the exploitation of elephants and other nonhuman animals for over a decade. Gigi’s photos of Minnie and Happy have been featured in National Geographic, TIME Magazine, and many other outlets, and her photos of Happy were widely shared on major national network broadcasts.
