Featured Funding OpportunitiesU.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA): Economic Recovery Corps Network OperatorEDA is currently seeking a Network Operator (an organization or coalition) to build, launch, and operate the Economic Recovery Corps program, which will embed Fellows in local economic development organizations across the country.EDA seeks applications for a Network Operator from organizations (or a coalition of organizations) that possess the expertise to create a well-structured, feasible, and scalable fellowship plan. The Network Operator should have expertise in running a fellowship, volunteer, or intern program. They should also have experience providing advanced economic development training and technical assistance to underserved populationsEconomic Recovery Corps Program Overview Webinar. The deadline to apply is August 5, 2022. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services: Citizenship and Integration Grant ProgramThis program provides funding for citizenship preparation programs in communities across the country. Organizations that prepare immigrants for naturalization and promote civic integration through increased knowledge of English, U.S. history, and civics are encouraged to apply. The deadline to apply is August 5, 2022.Department of Transportation Bridge Investment ProgramThe Bridge Investment Program is a competitive, discretionary program that focuses on existing bridges to reduce the overall number of bridges in poor condition, or in fair condition at risk of falling into poor condition.An overview webinar was presented on June 10th. You can view the recording here using this passcode: LNcVYA7%There are three deadlines for this program:Planning Grants must be submitted by July 25, 2022, at 11:59 PM EDT.Large Bridge Project Grants must be submitted by August 9, 2022, at 11:59 PM EDT.Bridge Project Grants must be submitted by September 8, 2022, at 11:59 PM EDT.Susan Harwood Training Grant ProgramThe Susan Harwood Training Grant Program funds eligible nonprofit organizations to develop new training capabilities, training materials, and training delivery on the recognition, abatement, and prevention of occupational safety and health hazards in the workplace.This program is split into three opportunities:Capacity Building Developmental & Capacity Building Pilot - Applicants may apply for either a Capacity Building Developmental grant or a Capacity Building Pilot grant. Capacity Building Developmental applications must provide a four-year plan describing the training capacity they plan to build. Capacity Building Pilot applicants must describe the training program they wish to build.Training and Educational Materials Development - Applicants must propose to develop new training materials addressing one of the OSHA-specified training topics.Targeted Topic Training - applicants must propose to develop and conduct training addressing one of the OSHA-specified training topics. These opportunities close on August 1, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. EDT. Grants Webinars, Workshops, and TrainingsCommunity Development Block Grants (CDBG)The Office of Community Renewal administers the CDBG program for the State of New York. The NYS CDBG program provides financial assistance to eligible cities, towns, and villages with populations under 50,000 and counties with an area population under 200,000, to develop viable communities by providing decent, affordable housing, and suitable living environments, as well as expanding economic opportunities, principally for persons of low and moderate income.The CDBG Program is split into two categories:Public Infrastructure, Public Facility and Community Planning – This includes water and sewer system improvements, fire stations, senior centers, and economic development activities.Applications will be accepted through the Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) system until 4:00 PM, EST, Friday, July 29, 2022.Housing Activities – This includes housing rehabilitation, manufactured housing replacement, and homebuyer assistance.Applications will be accepted through the Community Development Online (CDOL) system until 4:00 PM, EST, Friday, August 26, 2022. Bipartisan Infrastructure LawLast Fall, Congress came together to pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that tackles some of our nation’s most pressing infrastructure needs—devoting significant funding to fix our roads and bridges, upgrading transit systems and pedestrian infrastructure, expanding broadband access, building out electric vehicle charging stations, and finally removing lead pipes that poison our children. These investments will create tens of thousands of good paying jobs and support our 21st century economy.The Biden-Harris Administration created a Guidebook to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law which is a roadmap to the funding available under the law. The guidebook contains 13 chapters grouping Bipartisan Infrastructure Law programs by issue area. Each chapter contains a cover note explaining how to get ready to apply for and receive this subset of funding.For Rural Communities, a Rural Playbook to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law was created to help rural communities understand the available funding for infrastructure provided by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and other sources – offering information on the “what, where, and how” to apply for federal infrastructure dollars.Help build a better America. Featured Funding Opportunities

U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA): Economic Recovery Corps Network Operator
