John, whether or not you were able to make it on Monday, thank
you for taking the time to fight the NRA with us.
With your help, we fought back against the NRA's dangerous agenda. Despite
the rain and the cold, we were there — over 350 gun violence prevention
advocates from multiple organizations — to protect the progress we've made
on gun safety across the country. And with your help, we showed the NRA
yet again that we're a force to be reckoned with.
Monday's rally was no small feat, and we couldn't have done it without
you. Thank you for being part of such an important day for our movement.
[ [link removed] ]We showed up in force at SCOTUS.
While the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the case New York State
Rifle and Pistol Association v. City of New York, we rallied because a
decision that favors the NRA's dangerous agenda could make our nation's
gun violence crisis much worse.
And make no mistake: our rallying cry — Gun Laws Save Lives — was heard.
We were the number one trend among Twitter users in the nation's capital
on Monday.
When we show up, awareness grows, and change happens. With your help,
we'll make the NRA's dangerous agenda a thing of the past.
Thank you for being a part of our movement.
Sincerely,
Kara Fitzgerald
