Friends,

Time and again, the Trump administration has proven they're not taking the threat of climate change seriously. At all. Since taking office, Trump has eliminated environmental protections, proposed slashing the EPA budget, and attempted to expand offshore drilling.

And after promising to do so for years, Trump has now formally submitted notice to the United Nations to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement -- a pledge signed by nearly 200 nations to limit global warming to less than 2 degrees celsius. This commitment is critical, and it is equally critical that the U.S. lead this effort. It is embarrassing and an abdication of our responsibilities for our country to be on the wrong side of history on this.

We can't afford to break our commitment -- not when the future of our planet is at risk. Add your name to stand with me and demand the Trump administration keep the U.S. in the Paris Climate Agreement.

From deadly wildfires to destructive hurricanes, we've already seen firsthand the devastating effects of climate change. We know it's only going to get worse if we don't take steps right now to combat it.

As a pediatrician, scientist, and former EPA employee, I understand how serious the threat to our planet is. And as your congresswoman, I promise to always fight to ensure we're doing everything we can to combat the climate crisis. Will you join me?

Add your name and demand the Trump administration keeps its commitment to our planet and stay in the Paris Climate Agreement.
