The Miami Times shows me closing the gap with Marco Rubio in this critical Senate race. We're gaining ground – but we're still in the margin of error, and Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight says 2022 could be a red wave. 

I've overcome long odds before. The daughter of a maid and a janitor, I became the first in my family to go to college. I became Orlando's first woman police chief – and I even prosecuted a corrupt president for his high crimes against our democracy. 

But there's no question that this Senate race is my toughest fight yet – and I need your help to go ALL IN and flip Florida blue. 

The GOP has already raised more than $164 MILLION to defeat Democrats like me, flip the Senate and erase all of the critical progress we're making. Rubio himself is breaking GOP fundraising records, raising more than $6 MILLION in just the last few months.

Senate control is on the line in Florida – and the GOP is terrified that we can defeat Marco Rubio. Florida's Senate seat will come down to who has the resources to turn out more voters, which is why I'm personally asking you right now: Will you rush a donation before midnight tonight to help me keep up my momentum, defeat Marco Rubio and defend our Senate majority?
