Dear John,

Roll call! Who's counting their chickens, and who's falling behind?!

Over the years, Mercy For Animals has fought for lasting food system change—not only for an end to factory farms but for less animal suffering in the meantime.

That's why Mercy For Animals and other animal protection groups have worked diligently to secure over 200 commitments from companies to adopt meaningful animal welfare policies. Now their time is up, and it's up to us to ensure these companies follow through on their promises to do better for animals.

RSVP to Take Action

For Washingtonians, Pret A Manger locations across the district are popular lunch spots. But compared to competitors, Pret A Manger is the poorest performer when it comes to progress on their animal welfare policy. Since agreeing publicly to do better, Pret A Manger not only has failed to demonstrate progress but has gone so far as to delete the public policy from their website.

Join us in telling Pret A Manger that we are here to hold them accountable by helping us organize leafleting actions at locations around Washington, DC, in July.

Let us know if you're down to help coordinate an action or if you want to join as a participant. If you're in, fill out the RSVP form, and we'll be in touch!
