I know it’s been difficult to keep track of all the news around abortion access happening across the country since the Roe decision. It’s exhausting. Know that our Democratic AGs have been working night and day to protect and defend abortion access in their respective states and informing their constituents about what they can do to access safe care.
Here’s what our Dem AGs are doing to make sure that abortion is protected at the state level:
Wisconsin AG Josh Kaul is fighting in court to prevent an 1849 abortion ban from going into effect in his home state
Michigan AG Nessel is refusing to enforce a similar pre-Roe abortion ban, one that is almost 100 years old, to ensure Michiganders have access to the care they need
Nevada AG Aaron Ford is using his platform to call out the unconstitutionality of this Supreme Court ruling, and how this will hurt people across the country
We need them in office to continue this work in the years to come, and we need your help to keep them there. That’s why we’re reaching out to you today, friend.
