2021-22: The Best Bits

We have just completed our Annual Report and
are thrilled to share some of the best bits with you!

Our Gig Buddies project has matched 61 people,
helping them to meet new people and get out and try new things,


200 people have been trained how to travel,

47 free devices have been given to members who did not already have one.

Our Power Up team have translated 11 document into easy read.

They have supported with 3 big research projects,

Delivered 4 training workshops, and 11 consultancy projects.

Our campaigns group, Champions, have led on two major campaigns:

'We Can't Wait' 
aims to prioritise people with a learning disability on NHS waiting lists. We successfully lobbied our local authority who incorporated our desires into the Local Care Plan.

'Don't Lock us Away' focused on providing alternative high quality community care for those locked away in secure hospitals.
Ben was interviewed for BBC Radio 4's "You and Yours."

Our Computer Buddy project provides free devices (laptops and tablets), support and training to adults with learning disabilities
who are based in Oxfordshire.
