In late May, Mike Dunleavy kicked off the first-ever Sustainable Energy Conference in Alaska.
He led discussions about Alaska's future and our realistic use of renewable energy from wind, solar, geothermal, hydro, nuclear, and tidal.
Alaska has the second-highest electricity rates in the country, despite renewables offering a lower-cost solution in many cases. Mike is committed to setting Alaska on the path to 30% renewable energy output by 2030 and 80% by 2040.
Mike continues to be forward-thinking because Alaska deserves real solutions, not just partisan talking points.
