Our next critical election: Glenn Ivey, Candidate for MD-4
Political Update
Dear A.,
Two months ago, Bernie Sanders declared “war” on AIPAC.
Since his comment, we have defeated Sanders-backed candidates in Texas, Georgia and Nevada, and have helped defeat two anti-Israel candidates in California.
And we are just getting started.
Last week, the Forward published this piece—Bernie Sanders went to ‘war’ with AIPAC. Now the pro-Israel lobby is pushing back—about our political battle to support pro-Israel leaders and defeat candidates backed by Sanders and his allies like J Street who would undermine the U.S.-Israel relationship. We encourage you to read and share it widely.
"No matter how many misleading statements Bernie makes, it doesn’t change the fact that Democratic primary voters are consistently preferring Democratic pro-Israel progressives," said Patrick Dorton, a spokesperson for the AIPAC-backed super PAC, United Democracy Project.
Our next critical primary election takes place two weeks from today in Maryland, where pro-Israel candidate Glenn Ivey faces Donna Edwards, a former congresswoman with a long track record of anti-Israel votes.
Thank you for your ongoing support of our critical work.
