NATO Signs Accession Protocols

Members of the NATO military alliance took a major step Tuesday in their bid to welcome Sweden and Finland to the fold. Delegations gathered in Brussels to sign “accession protocols,” after which NATO members must ratify the two Nordic countries’ accession to complete their formal joining of the bloc, as the Washington Post reports.

Iran’s Alarming Progress on Uranium Enrichment

Iran added demands unrelated to discussions on its nuclear program during the latest talks and has made alarming progress on enriching uranium, the U.S. envoy for talks on reinstating a nuclear deal said on Tuesday, as Reuters reports.
