My 16-year-old son took a Summer job working construction. This morning he was waiting at the yard, wondering where the rest of the crew was, when he finally got exasperated and called his boss.

Turns out someone on the crew tested positive for COVID, so they canceled work for the day – but nobody told him.

I went to pick him up, and on the drive home we talked about unions.
