Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that President Biden has the authority
to end the inhumane, Trump-era policy, “Remain in Mexico,” that strands migrants in dangerous conditions in Mexico while they await court
dates in the United States. Join us in calling on the Biden administration to do everything in its power to
end “Remain in Mexico” for good. >>>

[[link removed]]This cruel policy has put tens of thousands of people in grave danger and
violated their fundamental right to seek asylum. While they are waiting in
squalid camps in Mexico, migrants are often unable to seek legal representation
or access materials to prepare their cases – dooming their chances for a fair hearing and putting their lives at risk.

For nearly three years, “Remain in Mexico” has viciously deprived migrants of
due process, shut down our asylum system, and deterred people from seeking
safety. Now that the Supreme Court has ruled, the Biden administration must move
swiftly to permanently end the human rights disaster that is “Remain in Mexico.”

SIGN OUR PETITION: Tell the Biden administration it must permanently end “Remain
in Mexico” and other inhumane Trump-era anti-asylum policies.

Last week’s decision is a testament to the strength of our movement, but our
work is far from over. We urge the Biden administration to permanently end
“Remain in Mexico.”

We are in this fight for the long haul and will not stop working to ensure that
everyone is welcomed with dignity and respect.

Sincerely,

Lisa Graybill
