In case you missed it, the FDA recently issued a decision ordering JUUL products to be removed from the market.

In 2019, Josh was the first state attorney general in the U.S. to sue JUUL. And last year, Josh was the first state attorney general to hold them accountable for targeting young people, putting at risk another generation. Josh and his team secured fundamental changes to JUUL’s business practices to protect young people from its marketing and sales — along with $40 million to help kids conquer their nicotine addiction, achieving a major win in the fight against teen vaping.

Although we've made progress in protecting our young people from nicotine addiction, there’s still more work to do to hold the e-cigarette industry accountable. 

That’s why Josh is calling on the FDA to come up with clear rules to limit flavors that attract teen use, marketing strategies directed toward young people, and nicotine content levels that accelerate addiction. That way, we can ensure that other companies, like Puff Bar, don’t simply fill the vacuum created by the FDA’s action on JUUL.

Regardless of the FDA’s actions against JUUL, there is still more work to be done to protect young people from the dangers of e-cigarettes and addiction.
