Wisconsin AG Josh Kaul is fighting tooth and nail to make sure that his constituents won’t be harmed by an archaic law from 1849 that would outlaw abortion in the state.

The law in question would make providing an abortion punishable for up to six years in prison and there are Republican candidates on the ballot for AG and governor who will enforce this ban, rather than fight it.

The difference between safe abortion care or an abortion ban in Wisconsin will come down to who is sitting in the AG office. As long as Josh Kaul is Wisconsin’s AG, the Badger State will have a strong advocate for abortion access in their corner.
