Earlier this year, I announced my retirement and I'm reaching out today to tell you why I endorsed Seth Magaziner to succeed me in representing RI-02 in Congress. Let me share why I'm standing with Seth.

As Rhode Island Treasurer, Seth has spent the last eight years serving the Second Congressional District – fixing crumbling school buildings and creating clean energy jobs from Westerly to Warwick. Now, he's ready to go to Congress to continue fighting for all Rhode Islanders.

In Congress, Seth will focus on creating good-paying jobs, protecting Social Security and Medicare, and lowering the cost of prescription drugs. And we can count on him to fight back against dangerous and divisive leaders like Kevin McCarthy and Donald Trump who are undermining our democracy and threatening working Rhode Islanders.
